Why most Samsung S8 performance tests are incomplete

Samsung recently launched their 2017 "S" series flagships, S8 and S8+. As expected, the dvices are gorgeus and attract masses to be proud owners of them. Like always, the launch announcement was followed by numerous reviews, durability tests, speed tests etc. As a tech enthusiast, I read and watched a number of these reviews. But one thing that seemed incomplete is that none of the reviewers actually mentions anything about "Performance Mode" in their reviews.

Starting with Nougat update on S7 & S7 edge, Samsung has added a new Performance Mode in settings. The default setting here is "Optimized", that aptly optimizes your performance and battery experience. This to me, is a great feature that gives different type of users, the freedom to select their required mode. But any kind of performance test on the devices will be incomplete if it doesn't compares the performance in different modes. Strangely, most of the reviewers are not doing that, giving undue advantages to the speed test competetors while also hiding a great feature from users.

I am quite sure that some of our more reliable and aware reviewers will soon pick this and post their reviews, giving better insights into the great devices.
